Hello! Thank you for visiting my personal website and for wanting to learn a little bit about me. I live in I live in Grand Junction Colorado which is the largest town on the Western Slope close to the Utah border. With that it is the doorway to the mountains in the east and the red desert to the southwest. My friends call me Karin as in Car-in. Since I am originally from Germany and have lived in the states for about 23 years I still adhere to the original pronounciation. My husband and I adopted a cat "Freddy" from a body work client of mine and he has changed our - especially my - live completely, leading to the latest addition Oshi Miko a 3+ yr old Spanish Mustang. I enjoy many things, but at the top of my list: I enjoy all activities that take me into the quiet of nature in presence of all beings. I love learning and discovering new things about the world, people, all sentient beings and myself. For my last vacation, we went camping in the backwoods with Freddy who enjoys the wild and runs right along us for short walks. He also keeps a keen eye on our van if we are out on mountain bikes or climbing a peak. Goals and ambitions are motivating and important in a person's life. I already started incorporating bodywork with equestrians AND their horses AND teaching them greater body sense so they find greater ease in themselves and in unity with their horse. If you uncover your subconscious compensation patterns you are on the way to erasing them and the need for any additional aids through the reins or whip. I've been fortunate to accomplish many things in my life. But my biggest accomplishment: I went through the 'Reach Out to Horses' Holistic Horsemanship Course followed by a Wild Horse Gentling clinic with Anna Twinney as a complete novice. Thank you Anna for taking that chance and allowing me to learn to look for the 'whisper in the eye', the spirit that lies behind it and the heart that speaks through it. I'm having the time of my life right now by living my dream of owning my own business. Joining Dynamite as a distributor allows me to not only support MY equine companion's health and entire being in a more holistic way, I am now also able to share my successes with others. I hope that gives you some insight into who I am. |
